Maelys Monkam is a Paris-based student in cultural development and marketing, working at the intersection of art, design, and communication. Her practice explores themes of sensitivity, empathy, and spatial experience, with a particular interest in architecture and scenography. Inspired by music, human interactions, and lived experiences, she develops a personal and intuitive approach to visual storytelling. Alongside her studies at IESA Paris, she works as a freelance graphic and motion designer, collaborating with music studios and contributing to communication projects within a luxury interior architecture firm. Her work includes projects such as White Ferrari and Villa Héritage at the Salone del Mobile 2025, where her documentary video was presented as part of the exhibition. Currently, she is developing editorial and graphic design work, notably in collaboration with Formae magazine, focusing on materials and visual narratives, while also pursuing independent publishing projects. Through her work, she aims to create honest and emotionally driven spaces where vulnerability becomes a strength, encouraging individuals to embrace their true selves.
